Christine Kim.

Christine Kim’s body of work includes traditional lithography, performance, and installation. Her early fascination with light and shadow started from painting black tusche washes on limestone and looking up at sun-filtered forest canopies and other sacred architecture. Her work speaks to subtle tones of uncertainty, tension, and unease. The paper figures are fragmented, concealed, and weakened under the knife. There is a distinct vulnerability in the subject and the medium. Drawing from a background in fine arts and art education, she currently lives and works in Toronto. (by Honey)
